Tal Tamr witnessed a protest today during which demonstrators blocked the M4 international highway, one of the region's main transport routes. Protesters carried banners calling for lower fuel and basic commodity prices, improved public services and living conditions, and immediate measures to reduce the economic hardships facing residents.

Meanwhile, dozens of residents and shop owners in Çil Axa held a protest gathering in Martyr Masoum Square (Traffic Roundabout).

The protesters raised banners urging the relevant authorities to take urgent action to address service-related crises, particularly electricity shortages, secure bread supplies, and bring food prices under control. They also chanted slogans calling for immediate steps to improve living conditions and curb the worsening economic crisis.

Participants in both protests said that rising fuel prices had directly driven up the cost of essential goods and services, worsening the hardship faced by residents. They stressed that their peaceful demonstrations would continue until their demands are met and living conditions improve.
